Iowa Bank is committed to the belief that maintaining the confidentiality of our customer's information is at the core of our relationship with our customers. The success of an organization, like ours, depends heavily on the level of trust and confidence it enjoys with its customers. In continuing our commitment to provide quality service to our customers, our Board of Directors has adopted this Privacy Policy to govern our promise to you, our consumer customers, that we will protect your trust and confidence by following these principles. This privacy policy applies to individuals and we reserve the right to amend it at any time.

We understand that you expect that the information about you, that you have entrusted to us, will be handled with great care. We value your trust and understand that keeping your information secure is one of our most important responsibilities. For that reason, you should be confident that we do not sell or share current or previous customers' nonpublic personal information with nonaffiliated third parties except as permitted or required by law. As permitted by law, we may share information with our affiliates, including all banks belonging to our holding company, Fidelity Company. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comly with federal standards to guard your nonpublic personal information.

Limited Employee Access to Information. We have procedures and security levels that limit employee access to customer information to those with a business reason to know such information. In addition, we train our employees about the importance of maintaining the confidentiality of customer information. Employees are instructed that they should never discuss or disclose confidential customer information inside or outside of the Bank unless required to transact proper bank business. We take appropriate disciplinary action to enforce our employee's privacy responsibilities.

Use, Collection and Retention of Customer Information. We collect, use and retain information about our customers only when we reasonably believe that the information will be useful in administering our business and in providing products, services and other opportunities to our customers. The information we collect and retain will be used to protect and administer our customers' records, accounts, and funds; to comply with certain laws and regulations that may apply to us; to help design or improve our products and services; and to understand your financial needs so that we can provide you with quality products and outstanding service. We collect nonpublic personal information from you from the following sources:

Information we receive from you on applications or other forms;
Information about your transactions with us;
Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency;

We may disclose all of the information we collect, as described above, to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf.

We may disclose information that we collect, to merchants who wish to verify sufficient funds for a check they have received and accepted for payment of a product or service.

Maintenance of Accurate Information. We have implemented procedures to help assure that our customers' financial information is accurate, current, and complete in accordance with commercial standards. We will respond in a timely manner to requests to correct inaccurate information.

Security Procedures. We have adopted commercially reasonable security standards and procedures regarding access to your personal information. We will continue to update and test our security systems and procedures so that your information is protected.

Restrictions on the Disclosure of Account Information. We do not sell or share customer information to unaffiliated third parties to use for their own purposes. We do share information with companies that work for us. For example, we may share information with companies that print checks for us, or provide data processing services. These companies are acting on our behalf when they provide these services and are obligated by contract to maintain the information that they receive in a confidential manner. They are not authorized to use the information for any other purposes.

We do not reveal specific information about our customers' accounts or other personally identifiable data unless (1) our customer has requested or authorized it; (2) the information is provided to help complete a transaction initiated by our customer; (3) to comply with a law, regulation, court order or subpoena; (4) in response to an inquiry about current sufficient funds to cover a check the customer has written; (5) to local, state, and federal authorities if we believe a crime may have been committed involving your account; (6) to paying agencies, such as the Social Security Administration, after the death or incapacity of a recipient or beneficiary of recurring direct deposits; (7) to our independent auditors, consultants, attorneys or regulators.

We do not disclose information to parties outside Iowa Bank, including affiliates, concerning the existence or administration of a trust, except to comply with a law, regulation or judicial proceeding or as deemed necessary in the administration of the trust.

Online Information. When a customer or any other person visits our website at iowabank.net, we may obtain certain information. The information we collect is subject to all of the safeguards we have described above, and is also subject to the following guidelines.

Depending on the content of your email, we may be required by existing laws and regulations to keep this information. If you send email to us, please remember that email is not secure against interception. Children's Privacy. Our website is directed to a general audience. We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from children on our site.
